Thank you for helping us honor and spread the word about Hyperhidrosis Awareness Month 2023! Your participation during November’s Hyperhidrosis Awareness Month is vital because, together, we can amplify the message that excessive, uncontrollable sweating is a serious medical condition warranting serious attention.
You can help us make sure that everyone knows that there is hope, community, support, and treatment available.
385 million people worldwide live with hyperhidrosis, an underserved medical condition (with 27% of adults NEVER diagnosed!) that nearly TRIPLES anxiety and depression risks.
The impacts of hyperhidrosis’ uncontrollable and unpredictable sweating range from:
- Feelings of intense discomfort due to wet clothing, dripping perspiration, slippery skin, and chilling dampness, to...
- Stigma, embarrassment and significantly increased risks of depression, anxiety and attention deficit disorder.
Together with its community, the International Hyperhidrosis Society (IHhS) is working to lift hyperhidrosis out of hiding so that people experiencing the condition can find treatment.
Thank you for joining us in the mission to help make hyperhidrosis awareness a priority and to improve knowledge of this impactful condition in your network and community. To help, the International Hyperhidrosis Society has created educational (as well as inspirational) content that you can easily share on your channels (your small adaptations can turn these November Hyperhidrosis Awareness Month messages into useful posts any time of the year.)
We have a wealth of resources and content ready for you. Scroll on ambassadors!
Amplifying Sister Organizations
Because of the donations from individuals, families, and sponsors, the International Hyperhidrosis Society was able to gather and inspire an extraordinary group of sister organizations and publications to communicate Hyperhidrosis Awareness Month messages to their tribe. Together, we have the ability to reach thousands and lift many, many more. We are warmly and forever grateful to each of you.
