Hh Awareness Month: Advocacy, Action and a Brighter Future
November 1, 2017 launches the first annual Hyperhidrosis (Hh) Awareness Month!
Why? Because the more people who know about Hh (excessive sweating), the sooner we’ll find a cure, and improve access to treatments.
Follow us on Facebook and Twitter so you won’t miss a single opportunity to win a give-away, learn a useful Hh life hack, or help raise awareness about how life-damaging and under-treated excessive sweating can be.
Hyperhidrosis is often isolating. But it doesn’t have to be. This is your month to find more support and share your story so that excessive sweating can be taken seriously and given the research and treatment development it deserves. Special thanks go out to the team at Dermira who helped make our Hyperhidrosis Awareness Month possible.
Pay special attention on November 13th when we host an important Patient-Focused Drug Development (PFDD) meeting – giving individuals with hyperhidrosis a unique and powerful platform to share perspectives on the impacts of Hh and the treatments that are needed. Hyperhidrosis patient presenters and audience members are already preparing their statements.
YOU can register to be among 350 live webcast PFDD attendees, and make your voice heard during the open comment period that opens November 13th at 1pm EST.
Representatives from the FDA and key treatment developers will attend the PFDD, and the commenting period will help us create public reports for future FDA and drug-developer awareness building, advocacy, and research.
Spread the word! #kNOSweat #NOvember
