Iontophoresis Insurance Help

To ease the process of obtaining reimbursement from a U.S. health insurance organization for the purchase of a home-use iontophoresis device (for the treatment of sweaty hands and sweaty feet), R.A. Fischer Company makes their Medical Insurance Claim Statement Form available and Hidrex USA provides their Insurance Reimbursement Assistance Guide.  The medical claim form should be completed and submitted to the appropriate health insurance organization by your treating physician along with a copy of the prescription and receipt so that you may get reimbursed for the purchase.  You can help your doctor by printing one of the above forms and taking it to your next appointment.  You may call your insurance company prior to purchase to be sure that you are eligible for coverage.

You can also look in our Fan Fave page to see if there are any iontophoresis devices that are offering special discounts.

Iontophoresis is a learned technique. Ideally, you perform the technique at home using your own iontophoresis machine after detailed training and practice under a physician’s supervision.
