Earbuds ready? Check Out the New Hh Haiku Podcast

How would you sum up your hyperhidrosis (Hh) experience in three short lines?

Simple, intense and direct, haiku poems are stunning in their fleeting beauty, on any topic. But (and, yes, we may be biased) it seems that hyperhidrosis brings out a special quality in haiku, and that our community has a particular talent for the literary form.

Listen today to a unique Know Sweat Podcast episode... a haiku series reflecting a range of perspectives on excessive sweating. These are small but mighty gifts from fellow hyperhidrosis sufferers, our leadership as well as world-renowned clinicians. We hope you enjoy them and the solidarity they represent, and that they motivate you to start writing your own haiku, too.

For Hyperhidrosis Awareness Month 2020, please help us share what it really feels like to have hyperhidrosis by posting your haiku to our social media channels. You can contribute on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Remember, a haiku has three lines with five syllables in the first line, seven in the second, and five in the third. Listen to the Hyperhidrosis Haiku podcast for examples and writing motivation.

The International Hyperhidrosis Society acknowledges the generosity of individual donors, Brickell Biotech, Duradry and Dermira Inc. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eli Lilly) whose support has helped make our 2020 Hyperhidrosis Awareness Month initiatives possible.
