Dr. David Pariser is an active dermatologist, professor and President
of the International Hyperhidrosis Society (IHHS) as well as one of its
founding members. He is a professor in the Department of Dermatology at
Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, where he is also
the senior physician with Pariser Dermatology Specialists, Ltd., a private
group practice of eight dermatologists. Dr. Pariser has been an American
Academy of Dermatology (AAD) fellow since 1977 and was recently elected
president of the AAD (which represents more than 15,000 member physicians
worldwide). Dr. Pariser will assume the position of AAD president in 2008.
For the remainder of 2007, he will hold the title of "president-elect".
Additionally, Dr. Pariser is an internationally renowned speaker on a
variety of dermatologic issues and has participated in over 300 funded clinical trials.
Dr. Pariser has treated hundreds of hyperhidrosis patients and has lectured about
the mechanism, diagnosis, and treatment of hyperhidrosis at numerous professional
education forums on behalf of the IHHS, the AAD, and other dermatological associations.
He is the consummate researcher and is continuously pursuing new treatment methods
that will improve the quality of life of his patients. Dr. Pariser feels that, in
his 30 years of practice, the patients who have given him the most inspiration
are the hyperhidrosis sufferers whose lives he has been able to improve.
Curriculum Vitae
Education: Dr. Pariser obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania,
and his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia, where he also completed his
internship. He trained as a dermatology resident at the University of Miami.
Board Certification: Dr. Pariser is certified by several boards, including the Virginia
State Board of Medical Examiners, and the National Board of Medical Examiners. He also has lifetime
certification by the American Board
of Dermatology and the American Board of Pathology
with a special competence in dermatopathology.
Affiliations: Dr. Pariser has earned fellowships from the American Academy of Dermatology,
the American College of Physicians, and the American Society for Dermatopathology.
He is also a fellow of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American
Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. In addition, he is a member of the American
Medical Association, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and Medical Society
of Virginia.
Awards and Honors: Awards and honors presented to Dr. Pariser include the American Academy
of Dermatology Gold Triangle Award for outstanding dedication to isotretinoin awareness
initiatives in 2002; the Physicians Recognition Award from the American Medical
Association on ten separate occasions, most recently in 2004; the Continuing Medical Education Award
from the American Academy of Dermatology on nine separate occasions, most recently in 2004; and four
Presidential Citations from the American Academy of Dermatology.
Current Elected and Appointed Positions:
Dr. Pariser is president of the Eastern Virginia Dermatology Foundation. He is also on the Boards
of Directors of the following organizations: American Academy of Dermatology, International
Hyperhidrosis Society, Sentara Health Management, Dermatology Services, Inc., National Psoriasis
Foundation, and Eastern Virginia Dermatology Foundation. He has served on the review committees
and/or editorial boards of numerous peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of the American
Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Pariser will assume the position of American Academy of Dermatology
(AAD) president in 2008. For the remainder of 2007, he will hold the title of "president-elect".

Dr. Dee Anna Glaser is an active dermatologist and has practiced for more than thirteen years.
She is a founding board member of the International Hyperhidrosis Society (IHHS) and currently
a professor of Dermatology and Vice Chairman of the Department of Dermatology at Saint Louis University
School of Medicine. She is also the Director of Cosmetic and Laser Surgery in the Department of
Dermatology and the Director of Dermatology Research Services at Saint Louis University. She is
an internationally renowned speaker on a variety of dermatologic issues and has participated
in more than twenty funded clinical trials.
Dr. Glaser has treated hundreds of hyperhidrosis patients and has been instrumental in determining
the prevalence and impact of hyperhidrosis in North America. She has lectured about the mechanism,
diagnosis, and treatment of hyperhidrosis at numerous professional education forums on behalf of
the IHHS, the American Academy of Dermatology and other dermatological associations. She is a
world-renowned authority on hyperhidrosis and at the forefront of novel hyperhidrosis research.
She is a strong advocate of hyperhidrosis awareness and has been influential in treating millions
of hyperhidrosis sufferers.

Education: Dr. Glaser earned her medical degree with distinction from the University
of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, completed an internship and residency in internal
medicine at New York University and Bellevue Hospital in New York, and completed a residency
in dermatology at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois
Board Certification: Dr. Glaser has been certified by several boards, including
the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Dermatology and the American
Board of Cosmetic Surgery. She is licensed to practice dermatology in New York, Illinois, and Missouri.
Affiliations: Dr. Glaser has earned fellowships from the American Academy of Dermatology,
the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and the American Society of Lipo-Suction Surgery.
In addition, she is a member of numerous societies and offices, including the American Medical
Association, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Phi Beta Kappa, Association of
Academic Dermatologic Surgeons, and the Women's Dermatologic Society.
Elected and Appointed Positions: Dr. Glaser serves on the board of trustees of the
American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, and the Cosmetic
Surgery Foundation. She also serves on the board of directors of the American Society for
Dermatologic Surgery and is a founding board member and current secretary of the International
Hyperhidrosis Society. She was an assistant section editor and is currently on the surgical
advisory board for the journal Archives of Dermatology. Dr. Glaser also currently serves on
the editorial board for SKINmed: Dermatology for the Clinician, is a contributing editor
for Cosmetic Dermatology, and is a section editor for Practical Dermatology.
Awards and Honors: Dr. Glaser is the recipient of numerous honors and awards, most notably,
inclusion in Best Doctors in America, Who's Who in Executives and Professionals, and as a "Top Doctor"
in Guide to Top Doctors. In 2002, Dr. Glaser won the "Women Helping Women Award" from Soroptimist
International and has also been named as a "Top Young Physician" by Saint Louis Magazine.
She is the 2007 recipient of the E. Grey Dimond, MD, Take Wing Award, given to an UMKC alumni
for excellence in her field and exceeding the expectations of her peers in the practice of
medicine, academic medicine, and research.
Bibliography: Dr. Glaser has participated in over 100 scientific and educational presentations,
and has been involved in a number of clinical studies. She has published more than 75 articles in
peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of the American
Academy of Dermatology, Dermatologic Surgery, Archive of Dermatology, Archive of Facial Plastic Surgery,
the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, the New England Journal

Adelaide A. Hebert , M.D., F.A.C.P.

Dr. Adelaide Hebert is an active dermatologist, professor and one of the
founding members of the International Hyperhidrosis Society.
She is a professor in the Departments of Dermatology and Pediatrics
and an associate professor in the Division of Craniofacial Growth
and Development/Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Texas-Houston
Medical School. In addition, she is a consulting staff member at the
University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Hebert has spoken
on numerous dermatologic issues around the country, including hyperhidrosis.
Dr. Hebert has been an active dermatologist for over 20 years and has treated
numerous hyperhidrosis patients over the past five years. While her current research
interests include axillary hyperhidrosis treatments using botulinum toxin type A and
quality of life studies, she has also worked closely with neurosurgeons who have performed
surgery on patients with severe cases of hyperhidrosis. Dr. Hebert believes that finding
effective treatments that improve the quality of lives for patients who sweat excessively
is both remarkable and rewarding.
Curriculum Vitae
Education: Dr. Hebert received her medical training at Tulane University School of Medicine
in New Orleans, Louisiana. She completed both an internship in internal medicine and her
residency in dermatology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.
Board Certification: Dr. Hebert is certified in Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology and by
several boards, including the American Board of Dermatology, American Clinical Pathology Proficiency,
and the American Academy of Wound Management.
Affiliations: Dr. Hebert has earned a fellowship from Northwestern University in Pediatric
Dermatology and is a member of numerous professional societies, including the American Academy
of Dermatology, American Academy of Pediatrics, American Medical Association, American Dermatologic
Association, Women's Dermatological Society, Society for Investigative Dermatology, Society for
Pediatric Dermatology, Southern Medical Association, Texas Dermatological Society, and the Texas
Medical Association.
Awards and Honors: During her 20 years practicing dermatology, Dr. Hebert has won
numerous awards. Shes been listed as one of "The Best Doctors in America: Central Region" three times.
In 2000, she was awarded the Deans Excellence Award at the University of Texas Health Center Honors Convocation.
Current Elected and Appointed Positions: Dr. Hebert has been a member of the faculty of the Department
of Dermatology at the University of Texas-Houston Medical School since 1986. She is also a professor
in the Departments of Dermatology and Pediatrics as well as an associate professor in the Division
of Craniofacial Growth and Development/Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Texas-Houston Medical School.
There, she also serves on the Continuing Medical Education and the Graduate Medical Examination Committees.
In addition, she is a consulting staff member at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Hebert has served on the editorial board for the journal Pediatric Dermatology.

Nowell Jay Solish, M.D., F.R.C.P.

Dr. Nowell Solish is an active dermatologist, founding board member of the International
Hyperhidrosis Society and past president of the Canadian Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
He serves as the Director of the Cosmetic Care and Laser Surgery Centre in Toronto,
co-director of the Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer Clinic and the Laser Surgery Unit at Women's
College Hospital and co-director of Dermatologic Surgery at the University of Toronto.
He is also Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Toronto where he
is responsible for planning the surgical dermatology curriculum. He lectures regularly
on hyperhidrosis, dermatologic surgery techniques and other dermatology-related topics
at local, national, and international medical meetings and is published in numerous
peer-reviewed journals and chapter books.
Dr. Solish has treated hundreds of hyperhidrosis patients and has been an invited lecturer
on the diagnosis and management of hyperhidrosis since 1996. Dr. Solish is most gratified
as a physician when he is able to effectively treat and change the life of hyperhidrosis
patients who come to him after having been unable to successfully manage their hyperhidrosis.
Curriculum Vitae
Education: Dr. Solish obtained his undergraduate degree from the University
of Toronto and graduated with honors from the University of Toronto Medical School
in dermatology. He trained as a dermatology and internal medicine resident at the
University of Toronto and subsequently became the Chief Resident at the same institution.
He pursued fellowships in dermatologic surgery at the University of Toronto and at the
University of British Columbia.
Professional Affiliations and Activities: Dr. Solish is the past president of
the Canadian Dermatologic Society, a member of the American Academy of Dermatology,
the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Academy of Moh's
Micrographic Surgery. He has also served as reviewer for the Journals of American
Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery.
University Committees: Dr. Solish presently serves on the financial committee of
the Women's College Campus and the clerkship committee at the University of Toronto.
Previously he has served on the Dermatology Postgraduate Training Committee, the Dermatology
Executive Committee, the residency committee for the occupational health residency program
at the University of Toronto, and the department of Undergraduate Medical Education Committee.
Also, he served on the resident training committee in internal medicine and in dermatology at
the University of Toronto.
Elected and Appointed Positions: Being the past president of the Canadian Society for
Dermatologic Surgery, Dr. Solish has also previously held positions as the vice president,
secretary, and treasurer for the same society. In addition, he has served on the branding
task force for the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
Awards and Honors: Dr. Solish has been awarded the F.M. Hill Research Award from
the Women's College Hospital and has been accepted by the American Society of Dermatologic
Surgeons as a preceptor in injectables and fillers. He has been nominated for numerous
other awards, including the Teacher of the Year Award by the Dermatology Training Program
at the University of Toronto and the Professional Association of Interns & Residents of
Ontario for excellence in clinical teaching on two separate occasions.

Lisa J. Pieretti, IHHS Executive Director
Lisa J. Pieretti is the Executive Director of the International Hyperhidrosis Society (IHHS).
As Executive Director, Pieretti is responsible for establishing the mission and execution
of the initiatives that support the goals of the organization. Top priorities include promoting
awareness of hyperhidrosis, working to enable treatment access, and increased research into this
medical condition.
Pieretti oversees the marketing activities of the IHHS, including fundraising, public relations,
publication and patient education development, and partnership development with organizations
such as the American Academy of Dermatology, the Canadian Dermatology Association, and the European
Academy of Dermatology and Venereology. In addition to being involved in all operational functions
of the organization, Pieretti also drives the considerable physician education efforts of the
Society. She also provides patient support to hyperhidrosis sufferers, spearheading primary and secondary research.
Through the enrichment of the IHHS Web site, www.SweatHelp.org, Pieretti has developed a true online global
support community. There are currently more than ten thousand people registered in the patient database
and nearly one thousand physicians have registered to be part of the Physician Finder database.
The Web site is one of the most popular for those seeking hyperhidrosis information and support
and boasts hundreds of thousands of visitors from around the world annually. Under Pierettis
management, the IHHS has attracted worldwide media attention, which has led to growing consumer
and physician awareness of the devastating effects of this condition.
Prior to becoming the Executive Director of IHHS, Pieretti was the Director of Account Management at Medical Broadcasting
Company, where she designed, developed, and executed integrated multi-channel strategic marketing
programs for billion-dollar pharmaceutical brands. Pieretti also worked with SCIREX Corporation,
a leader in CNS clinical research, as the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications,
and Merck & Co. as a Market Analyst in the vaccine department.
Pieretti attended Drexel University in Philadelphia where she received her B.A. degree in design.
Later, she went on to receive an M.A. in international economics, and an MBA in marketing
also from Drexel University.
In November of 2003, the IHHS announced the appointment of Pieretti as the organizations first Executive Director.
Pierettis unwavering dedication to those who suffer from the effects of hyperhidrosis are reflected in the integrity
of the organizations initiatives and the continuous action and care provided by the Society.
